Code Change Summary: Revised code definition.

In the 2020 NEC®, the definition of a main bonding jumper (MBJ) was revised to clarify that the MBJ connects the grounded circuit conductor to the equipment grounding conductor, or the supply-side bonding jumper, or both, at the service.

Previously the definition did not mention the supply-side bonding jumper which is also bonded to the equipment grounding conductor or busbar at the service.
