In North Dakota, electrical services must comply with NEC® Article 230 but a few additional rules specific to North Dakota must also be followed especially when installing house panels.

House panels in North Dakota have different rules based on the size of the house panel. The number of circuit breaker spaces required for house panel loads depends on what size house panel is installed.
