Code Change Summary: A new table has been added in 725.154 and the previous specific cable installation requirements have been relocated to new section 725.135.

In the 2014 NEC®, rather than having pages of text dictating how Class 2, Class 3 and Power-limited tray cables (PLTC) can be used, a simple table has been inserted in section 725.154. Now one can simply refer to the new Table 725.154 to determine the proper application of the cables.

The majority of the text previously found in 725.154 applies to the actual cable installation has been reworded, and relocated to new section 725.135.

Refer to the image for a preview of Table 725.154: See the actual NEC® text for the complete table and article revisions.
